Group Fitness Classes

Our group fitness classes offer a friendly atmosphere with a personalized approach to exercise. Classes are taught by nationally certified instructors who excel in motivating and educating. We offer many multi-level classes that will challenge the “fit” member and encourage the “novice” exerciser.

If you have any orthopedic or medical problems, our instructors can offer modifications of specific exercises to meet your needs.

Who likes Cardio Tone classes? 

Cardio Tone is a low impact class for any fitness level. You always have room to modify exercises to fit your comfort level and challenge your body to increase strength. You'll be able to get in, work out, and get back to work! 

What is a Cardio Tone class? 

Come experience the perfect combination of a cardiovascular workout and muscle toning. You'll start with a five-minute warmup that leads right into the “cardio,” or movement section designed to raise your heart rate. Next comes the “toning” part of class that uses weights, balls and bands to work both your upper and lower body. Modifications can be made depending on your fitness capability. The class wraps up with a nice stretching segment for your entire body.

When and where does the Cardio Tone class meet? 

Cardio Tone classes at Willis Knighton Fitness Center South are Mondays, 9 to 9:30 a.m. This is a quick 30-minute class if you have a busy schedule!

Intentional movement helps you maintain balance and mobility throughout your life. The physical and mental health benefits are many, but it does require consistent participation. Cardio Tone is a wonderful combination of cardiovascular activity and muscle toning all in one. If you’re short on time, try this fun total body workout. Spend just half an hour in one of our classes to enjoy all that Cardio Tone brings to your fitness goals. We’ll be happy to see you.
