Small, convenient devices allow you to easily measure and manage your health. Julie Hartley, RD, shares the devices she uses to measure certain lifestyle factors:
Sleep: A simple ring can be used to measure your sleep quality against daily lifestyle choices. Learn how food, beverages, exercise, stress and more affect your sleep quality.
Metabolic health: Consistently monitor glucose levels in your body with a continuous glucose monitor. Better metabolic health leads to better overall health.
Step counter: Many devices and apps out there can be used to count your steps. Aim for at least 10,000 each day to keep your body healthy.
Weight scale: Keep track of your weight and notice trends. Do you notice your weight creeping higher when you’re tucked inside the house and moving less?
Body composition scale: Measure your lean and fat body mass at Willis Knighton Fitness Centers to see the changes over time. Stay engaged and motivated as you track progress toward your fitness goals.
