Member Spotlight: Eddie Chavez

A stress test for Eddie Chavez revealed bad news for his heart: two blockages that were 80 and 40 percent, respectively. Blood flow is restored and Chavez feels less chest pain after he received a stent in his heart and the other blockage was cleaned out. His doctor recommended an exercise program to help Chavez maintain his heart health. Now he feels at right at home at WK South Wellness Center (which is near his home) with staff members Marlon, Brent and Adelyn always ready to help. He is impressed with the facilities and the immediate help he received when an ab machine needed maintenance.

When he’s not working out, Chavez spends time with his son, Mario, and his grandchildren. He enjoys attending their school activities and sports events. Following medical procedures and weight loss at WK South Wellness Center, yard duties are easier now for Chavez, too!
