Linda and Bill Hamm became loyal to the WK Health & Fitness Center at North when it first opened in 1982. The Hamms feel comfortable in the clean and health conscious environment. They enjoy all the friendly staff members who make them feel welcome and health professionals who assist them with workouts.
When Linda and Bill were younger, both were triathletes and Linda ran in 20 major marathons, including Boston twice, London and the Goodwill Games. Admittedly, Linda and Bill let their busy schedules get in the way of exercise and eating properly about 10 years ago. After a few years of neglect that came with health consequences, the couple decided once again to prioritize their health and head back to the WK Fitness & Wellness Centers. That is when the Hamms met exercise physiologist Joey Vallot, who is also a nurse and very knowledgeable about fitness. In less than six months of personal training with Joey, Linda and Bill noticed major improvements in their own bodies and physical conditioning. The Hamms are full of compliments about Joey, who they say thinks outside the box and shares new ideas about health and life in general.
Now that they’re retired, the Hamms are working hard to learn how to relax so they can spend quality time with their grandchildren. Joey still helps them out at North, where the Hamms hope to continue exercising for many more years to come.
